Having a positive impact, MSME players are grateful for the existence of Romokalisari Adventure Land

Surabaya (ANTARA) – Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Romokalisari Adventure Land, Surabaya City, are grateful because the opening of this natural tourist destination can have a significant impact on the local economy.

“Development here is now busy. It really helps our economy, especially for low-income people (MBR),” said one of the MSME actors Romokalisari Adventure Land Rodiyah to journalists in Surabaya, Thursday.

He and other MSME players also thanked the Surabaya City Government for previously receiving training, starting from food processing, serving, to financial management.

Meanwhile, Head of the Surabaya Food and Agriculture Security Service (DKPP), Antiek Sugiharti, said that apart from having a number of interesting rides, Romokalisari Adventure Land is also equipped with culinary stands, processed smoked fish and souvenirs.

“There are eight culinary stalls in total. Meanwhile for processed fish, there are six stalls. There is also a souvenir stall, which is staffed by four MSMEs,” he said.

For visitors who like fishing, you can also buy fishing equipment there. Antiek said that the stall selling fishing equipment was located right behind the culinary stand.

“So, for visitors whose hobby is fishing, they can also fish there. There are fishing rod sellers too,” said the former Head of the Surabaya City Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar).
