Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Recall, How about in Indonesia?

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 was officially marketed in Indonesia some time ago. This sport utility vehicle (SUV) was imported directly from Japan in its entirety.

The Land Cruiser 300 sold in Indonesia comes in two trims, namely VXR and GR Sport. PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) targets selling 300 units of this car per year.

“Considering that this is a segment that has relatively stable demand from time to time. “Hopefully this can also get demand and reach 300 units and above,” said PT TAM Marketing Director Anton Jimmi Suwandy, at the launch, some time ago.

However, the Land Cruiser 300 marketed in the Philippines is reportedly experiencing a recall. According to Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the car had a problem with the vehicle stability control (VSC).

The Philippine Department of Industry and Trade stated that the total number of cars subject to the recall reached 615 units.

Meanwhile in Indonesia, until now TAM has not received information regarding the Land Cruiser 300 recall from TMC.

“I checked, there is no official information from the principal or TMC. We will continue to communicate and monitor,” said Anton, when contacted by Kompas.com, Monday (13/6/2022).
