“I-LAND” episode 6, EJ, Kyungmin and four others were eliminated

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Six participants in the survival event for the K-pop idol group “I-LAND”, which was originally I-LANDER, had to go down to ground based on the vote count of I-LANDER and the producers, it was announced in episode six which aired this Friday night.

Three participants, namely Youngbin (11 votes), Kyungmin (11 votes), Jaebeom (10 votes) were I-LANDER’s choices, while the other three were based on the producers’ choices, namely EJ, Seon and Geonu.

This result was obtained after the 12 I-LANDERs completed the fourth test, part one, singing the song “I&credible”. Jungwon got the highest score with 83 points, followed by Sunghoon with 81 points, Jake with 75 points. Meanwhile Heesung was given 70 points, then K with 61 points.

Six I-LANDERs who went down to ground namely EJ got 66 points, followed by Youngbin and Seon 65 points, Kyungmin 64 points, Jaebeom 63 and Geonu 60 points.

After learning this result, the six eliminated I-LANDERs cried, then returned their name tags and went downstairs ground.

The Grounders were surprised to learn that six participants had come down and some of them hugged their eliminated colleagues.

Furthermore, the 17 participants in ground waiting for the result voting global test which will end on August 2 2020 to be able to advance to the second part of the test “The Final 12” as well as the final test.

The preliminary results of the global vote count this afternoon were announced. Sunoo excelled in the country where the event took place, South Korea, ahead of 14 participants from his fellow countries including: EJ, Geonu, Jaebeom, Jungwon, Kyungmin, Seon, Sunghoon, Youngbin, Jaeho, Jimin, Sungchul, Heesung, Taeyong and Yoonwoon.

Meanwhile, other participants, namely Ni-Ki, excelled in Japan, then Daniel in the United States, Hanbin in his home country of Vietnam, then Sunoo in the highest position in Mexico.

In China, there is Sunghoon who temporarily occupies the highest position, then Jake in Australia, Jay in Nepal, K in Greece and Heesung top in India.

Global voting began on July 24, allowing viewers and fans outside South Korea to vote for their favorite participant.

At the end of the episode, Mnet announced in writing “BTS 08.14”, but there was no detailed information regarding this.
